About Us
I have been in practice for 12 years. I am also Nationally Certified and in addition to my practice in North East, I am the Program Director and full time Instructor of Massage therapy at Great Lakes Institute of Technology in Erie Pa. I have additional training in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Oriental cupping, Hot stone massage, Pregnancy Geriatric, and Neuromuscular massage as well as spa modalities such as salt scrubs and mud wraps. I have seen great changes in the field of Massage therapy since I began my practice years ago, the awareness of the many benefits is growing every day. More and more insurance companies are adding massage therapy to the list of covered cost for health & wellness or preventative measures. Also, as part of recovery from injury. I work with several clients that have had amazing results from their massage therapy sessions as part of pain management. As an instructor of massage therapy, I have the opportunity to continuously learn and grow myself in the field of massage, allowing me to keep up to date on the most recent findings, and techniques being discovered. I have seen first hand over the years how massage has helped many, not only in stress reduction, but in the overall well being of an individual. Currently I have met all requirements to become licensed in the state of PA. The law was just passed in PA requiring all Massage Therapist to obtain a license to practice. I am very excited about the fact that PA has now become a license required state. We as professional Massage Therapist have been waiting for this for a very long time! Betty Feltenberger C.M.T.
